1000 th Post !
Yes, we have reached a milestone in our blogging ! Slowly and steadily, we have reached this mark. It feels great that we have been able to maintain this blog for the last 9 years, primarily due to Sathish. He started this blog and when I got interested I too joined in. Looking back and reading on the old posts makes it very interesting for me. As the title of the blog says, we have been writing on all the topics that have appealed to us. I personally feel it is another great place to turn to, when you so acutely want to share your happiness or frustrations. In the process of blogging, we have come across and met some wonderful people. Thanks to this blog, we are now into Saffron Tree too, which has been another fabulous experience for us. We hope to continue writing for many more years with the same enthusiasm !
THIS being the 1000th post and TODAY being our wedding anniversary, I want to dedicate this post to Sathish - my friend of 14 years, dear one of 13 years and hubby of 11 years, whom I value and cherish for all that he is to me. There is much more to be said about him, but this is a public blog and both of us are quite private people. So I will have to stop with that :-).

This day calls for double congratulations then. Completing a big milestone - 1000th post and doing it together is all the more significant.
A very happy wedding anniversary to both of you. It has been wonderful knowing both of you. I can see myself congratulating you on your golden anniversary as well :)

Wishing you and Satish a very very happy anniversary! And congratulations on your 1000th post! I had to read the number again - 100 or 1000 - couldn't believe - 1000 with three 0's. Pretty impressive! I didn't know you ahve been blogging for that long! I love your straight from the heart, simple and not flamboyant kind of writing...makes me feel like I am home when I read your posts...like the one about eating at Saravana Bhavan or some such post...
I hope we will stay in touch. Of course I can never forget you since my daughter is your namesake! :)
Hopefully we will meet up when I come to Bnglr next year...
